Sundays at St Andrew’s
9AM Holy Communion
The 9am is a traditional Church of England Communion service following seasonal liturgy. It has a choir, and our hymns are organ led. We often have people offering confidential prayer ministry towards the end of the service. Please do stay for tea and coffee and conversation after the service in the large hall.
10.30AM SERVICE
This service is for everyone - Singles, families, old and young. We have an all-age service on the first Sunday of each month (or special services like Christmas and Easter) where we are all in together. Apart from that, we have dedicated groups for children and teenagers. What this means is that typically we are all-in from 10.30-11am and then children and youth leave to go to their groups 11-12noon. The worship is led by a contemporary band. On most Sundays, the reading and talk are livestreamed. Please do stay for tea and coffee and conversation after the service in the large hall.
6pm Encounter Evenings
"Encounter" is a worship and prayer service. Services typically take place twice a month, but please check our calendar or click on the ‘learn more’ tab to see the dates for this year because the dates can vary depending on what else is going on for our church family.
A typical evening runs from 6-7.15pm where we take extended time cherishing God’s presence in sung worship, listening to the Holy Spirit with each other, sharing words of scripture and taking time to pray together and for each other!
St Bartholomew’s
St Bartholomew’s holds more traditional services at the following times:
Traditional Evensong - 5pm (3.30pm in winter) – 2nd Sunday of each month
