St Andrew’s and St Bartholomew’s are growing churches with a vision to bring hope for all ages to the people of Churchdown and the surrounding areas. We have a small staff team with the support of volunteers from every walk of life, who turn our vision into reality. Meet our youth interns

Theo Cartwright (Middle) returns as Senior Intern for a second year, leading Matthias Crofton (Left) and Tiarna Whitehouse (Right) as they begin their roles Junior Interns during their gap year. Through the Church of England’s Future Youth initiative, they’ll be receiving training, residentials, a certificate, and an allowance alongside their ministry here. 

As Paul reminds us in 2 Corinthians 5:20, our prayer for Theo, Matthias, and Tiarna to own their charge as “Christ’s ambassadors, as though God were making his appeal” through them as they lead in many areas of youth ministry, as well as outreach for local schools.
