News and Notices
Sunday 5th July sees our baptism service at the home of Julie and Peter Ingram. We would love as many people as possible to come along to support our baptism candidates.
If you are planning to come, the address is Oakle House, Oakle Street, Churcham, Glos. GL2 8AG. Please note that roadworks are scheduled to start at Over roundabout from 29th June so please leave extra time to travel. Extra parking will be signposted.
The schedule for the day is 4pm Kids Swim, 5pm Service, 6pm All Swim and picnic together, 7pm tidy up and home. Please stay and help clear up if you can.
As there's no 10.30am service on Sunday 5th July, some talented members of our church youth (and friends) will be putting on an informal performance including classical and jazz music, up at St Bart's, from 11am, on woodwind instruments. Please feel free to wander up to enjoy the music, and the views!'
Our Whole Church Breakfast takes place at St Andrew's on Saturday 11th July at 9.00am.
Tickets are £5p/p and can be purchased online at Whole Church Breakfast (11-Jul-2026) · ChurchSuite Events or pay on arrival. If paying on arrival, please confirm your attendance in advance on admin@stastb.church for catering purposes.
For Impact Weekend on Saturday 10th October we would like to offer our support to the community. This was well received last year with jobs including garden tidying, DIY jobs etc. Please let Gaz in the office know if you have a neighbour or project that we can consider supporting this year. Jobs will be carried out between 2pm and 4pm. Likewise, if you would like to volunteer please speak to Gaz.
If you would like to include any updates in the weekly bulletin, send them to admin@stastb.church. The deadline for submissions is Wednesday at 1pm.
Giving at St Andrew's and St Bartholomew's
Generous giving is an integral part of Christian discipleship. The apostle Paul says that giving is a primary responsibility for Christians: 'But since you excel in everything – in faith, in speech, in knowledge, in complete earnestness and in the love we have kindled in you – see that you also excel in this grace of giving. 2 Cor 8:7. For more information on how to give and where your money goes please download our giving flyer here.

Pastoral Care
As part of our Christian community, we provide mutual support for one another. Much of this happens informally with friends within the church and through the connect groups. However, sometimes people will require more personal support and encouragement either as a 'one-off chat' or on a more ongoing basis. We have a pastoral care team who can provide this type of care. Please contact Nigel Roe (Team Leader) on 07780 994827 or Rosi White on 07426 357967.
