Join with members of St Andrews and around 14,000  from across the UK and beyond for an incredible week of worship, teaching, ministry, and community.  New Wine Festival takes place at The Bath and West Showground, Shepton Mallet, in Somerset.  Most of us camp but you can stay locally and commute each day. This year, New Wine are offering reduced weekend tickets if you can't make the whole week.

Holiday Club, Tue 18–Thu 20 August, 9am–12pm

St Andrew's Jungle Expedition Holiday Club will be running this summer and we're looking for volunteers to help make it happen.

We need support across a range of areas including tech, kitchen team and working with children. If you're able to help in any of these roles—even for part of the time—please contact Kate.

Trussell Trust & Thursday Knitters

The knitters have recently sent £1,000 to the Gloucester Foodbank run by the Trussell Trust. All money raised from sale of knitwear and donations. The foodbank are very appreciative of our continued efforts and have asked to pass on their thanks to the church. On an annual basis we are one of their biggest donors and they are so grateful that groups like ourselves continue to stand with them in tackling food poverty in Gloucester.

If you would like to include any updates in the weekly bulletin, send them to comms@stastb.church. The deadline for submissions is Wednesday at 1 pm.

Giving at St Andrew's and St Bartholomew's

Generous giving is an integral part of Christian discipleship. The apostle Paul says that giving is a primary responsibility for Christians: But since you excel in everything—in faith, in speech, in knowledge, in complete earnestness and in the love we have kindled in you—see that you also excel in this grace of giving. 2 Cor 8:7. For more information on how to give and where your money goes please download our giving flyer here.

Pastoral Care

As part of our Christian community, we provide mutual support for one another. Much of this happens informally with friends within the church and through the connect groups. However, sometimes people will require more personal support and encouragement either as a 'one-off chat' or on a more ongoing basis. We have a pastoral care team who can provide this type of care. Please contact Nigel Roe (Team Leader) on 07780 994827 or Rosi White on 07426 357967.
