Youth Fundraiser Dinner – Monday 4 May, 6:00–7:30pm

We're excited to invite you to this year's Youth Fundraiser Dinner – a curry night featuring flavours from Indian to Thai.

Enjoy great food, community, and the opportunity to support our youth ministry. Thanks to your generosity, previous events have raised over £5,000, helping families in need, supporting volunteers, and enabling retreats and festivals. We would love to continue that impact this year.

Book with a minimum donation of £5 per person, with any additional giving greatly appreciated. Advance booking is preferred to help us plan for dietary requirements such as vegetarian or gluten-free options. Children under 5 eat free.

Book here: https://stastb.churchsuite.com/events/5ss2nlf6

Men's Breakfast – Saturday 25 April, 8:30–10:00am

Please Support Our Ordinands

Harry Bennett and Denise Wang are being ordained this summer. Harry will serve as a priest at St Catharine's, Gloucester, and Denise will be ordained as a deacon serving the RiverVale Churches (Welford, Weston, Quinton, Long Marston, and Meon Vale) with Revd Jay Niblett.

Training for ordination is financially demanding, and beginning curacy brings further costs. As their sending church, we would love to bless them with a financial gift.

Please consider making a love offering to support them. Individual gifts can be made to St Andrew's Church Ordination Fund. Alternatively, Connect Groups may wish to give collectively.

Bank details:

Sort code: 60-09-02
Account number: 69017859

If you are a taxpayer, your gift can be set against your tax liability for this year.

If you would like to include any updates in the weekly bulletin, send them to Adam. The deadline for submissions is Wednesday at 1pm.

Giving at St Andrew's and St Bartholomew's
Generous giving is an integral part of Christian discipleship. The apostle Paul says that giving is a primary responsibility for Christians: 'But since you excel in everything – in faith, in speech, in knowledge, in complete earnestness and in the love we have kindled in you – see that you also excel in this grace of giving. 2 Cor 8:7. For more information on how to give and where your money goes please download our giving flyer here.

Pastoral Care
As part of our Christian community, we provide mutual support for one another. Much of this happens informally with friends within the church and through the connect groups. However, sometimes people will require more personal support and encouragement either as a 'one-off chat' or on a more ongoing basis. We have a pastoral care team who can provide this type of care. Please contact Nigel Roe (Team Leader) on 07780 994827 or Rosi White on 07426 357967.
