Big Bible Giveaway
As part of our Christmas Card delivery to our parish this year, we would like you to consider and pray about the possibility of delivering an NIV New Testament into every (or at least most) door in our parish! There does seem to be a cultural 'moment' of increased openness and curiosity for spiritual things, including a 'quiet revival' in Church attendance in the UK.
We would love to lay down a 'fleece' and ask you to consider buying a number of Bibles via Churchsuite (or contact the church directly if it is a larger amount).
Option A - for instance, if we are able to purchase 500-1000, we could simply have a massive 'free giveaway' table in the foyer and encourage our church family to give away as many bibles to non-christians as they can (sharing stories on Sundays if possible)!
Option B is if we raise the full funds for 2000, that we consider a full parish drop alongside our Christmas cards, however this would be dependent on our volunteer's ability to complete the delivery task (the Bible is no bigger than a small paperback, but still considerably heavy if you are delivering 40 for example).

The Bibles cost approximately £1.28 each, therefore the total costs of the project would be:
500= £643
1000= £1285
1500= £1927
2000= £2570
Even if you were able to purchase a few Bibles, it would be a great help. For example, a donation for
5 Bibles = £6.40
10 Bibles = £12.80
20 Bibles = £25.60
50 Bibles = £64
100 Bibles = £128
What would we like you to do?

Pray for the Holy Spirit to go ahead of us and prepare people in our community to encounter him through his Word
Be willing to deliver the cards/Bibles towards the end of November
