Where is Encounter? Encounter takes place at St Andrew’s Church, Churchdown.
What’s our vision for the service? We love the transforming presence of God. We love to spend relaxed, informal time in his presence in sung worship and prayer. We want to create space to hear from the Holy Spirit. We value each contribution as we gather to share prayers and words of Scripture out loud, to sing in the Spirit together, to be silent together, to minister and pray for each other. We love sharing stories that encourage each other about what God is doing in our lives, in small and big ways!
1 Corinthians 14:26 (NLT) “Well, my brothers and sisters, let’s summarize. When you meet together, one will sing, another will teach, another will tell some special revelation God has given, one will speak in tongues, and another will interpret what is said. But everything that is done must strengthen all of you.”
